Head of R&D
A Brown University freshman, Nick is interested in exploring the intersection between computer science and politics. The ubiquity of computers—and the entanglement between technology and policy which that creates—particularly excites him. Nick joined Candivote to use technology in improving the state of politics and to help develop the platform into a powerful tool for informing and engaging voters.
Nick spent much of high school expanding his exposure to different aspects of the tech field and has further broadened his skillset since joining the team. With a background heavy in Java and OOP, he has picked up web development and utilized ReactJS with Material-UI to build the dashboard. Outside of programming, Nick is an Eagle Scout and enjoys reading, running, and playing soccer with friends.
